Speed

After the document, sent in digital form, has been approved by the customer, the printing plates can be made up within 1-2 hours, depending on the nature of the project. This period includes the precise calibration of the plates, the preparation of proofs, and the checking of the prepared plates. Since our CtP system is one of the fastest available, the integration of plate preparation into the production process enables us to provide our customers with an extremely rapid service. The equipment is capable of manufacturing 32 B/1 plates per hour, which shortens the prepress process as well as saving costs, since there is no need to pay for film-preparation.

Precision

The material supplied by the customer is sent to the CtP after being subjected to a series of carefully coordinated checks and procedures, performed in the preproduction stage and by the operator. Each phase of the process is planned and approved in advance. A Pictoproof digital proofing system is connected to the system, and can be used to inspect the quality of printing at the customer's request.

Register / Colour fidelity

As a result of the state-of-the-art CtP technology, even screen dots with a very low percentage density appear on the printing plate. For this reason the print quality conforms to the highest quality standards, in contrast to film-based methods. The resulting prints will match the approved proof as precisely as possible.

The Heidelberg Speedmaster B/1 and B/2 presses are capable of producing both large and small-format prints, in large or small print runs. We have the capacity to print 500,000 sheets per day. The CD type B/1 machine can even print boards up to 1 mm thick. The new SOLNA web offset machine is an ideal choice to produce books in one or two colours.

Precision

The new B/1 printing press works without set-off, without blotting and with accurate sheet-forwarding throughout the printing process. Between the printing stations, the surface of the printing substrate (usually paper or board) only comes into contact with air. Cutting-edge control systems ensure that the risks of human error are kept to a minimum. As a result, besides the excellent print quality, efficiency is also outstanding.

Register / Colour fidelity

It's a well known fact that CtP printing plates ensure superior tones and shades. Colour control is automatic throughout the printing process. Based on the first approved printed sheet, the system sets its own ink controls. Consistency of colour is guaranteed by the Image Control colour balance system.

With our state-of-the-art equipment, we can make our customers' ideas a reality, through folding, stitching, perfect-binding, or even in hard-bound form. Our new perfect-binding line is capable of producing several thousand soft-bound products an hour. With the new stitching line, 11,000 brochures can be saddle-stitched per hour. Our folding machines - B/1, B/2 and B/3 - can cope with the folding of almost any printed material on demand, with a capacity of up to 100,000 sheets per hour.

Quality

We store the specifications of regular jobs, thereby ensuring consistency of quality. The average age of our binding machinery is less than 3 years, which is another guarantee that our customers' requirements will be fully satisfied.
